1. WEBSITE PURPOSE & INFORMATIONAL USE

The content provided on this website is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care.

2. SCOPE OF PRACTICE & DISCLAIMER

Rooted Realms Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy services intended to support personal growth, wellness, behavior change, stress management, and self-regulation.

Hypnotherapy is not psychotherapy, and Rooted Realms Hypnotherapy does not provide:

  • medical diagnosis or medical treatment

  • psychiatric services

  • emergency/crisis services

  • guarantees of outcomes

If you are in crisis or believe you may harm yourself or others, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call/text 988 in the U.S.).

3. ELIGIBILITY

By using this website and/or services, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old, or have a parent/legal guardian consent for services

  • you are legally able to enter into an agreement

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete

We reserve the right to decline services if we believe hypnotherapy is not appropriate for your needs.

4. APPOINTMENTS & SCHEDULING

Appointments may be scheduled through our booking platform, email, or other approved methods.

You agree to provide accurate contact information and to monitor your messages for appointment confirmations, reminders, or updates.

5. FEES & PAYMENTS

Fees for services will be disclosed prior to scheduling or at the time of booking.

​

You agree:

  • to pay all fees associated with services received

  • that payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed

  • that missed/canceled appointment fees may apply (see Section 6)

​

Payments may be processed using secure third-party payment processors. Rooted Realms does not store full payment card information.

​

6. CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW POLICY

We understand that life happens, and we aim to treat clients with respect and fairness. At the same time, session times are reserved exclusively for you.

​

Unless otherwise stated in your intake agreement:

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a late cancellation fee

  • Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged the full session fee

  • Arriving late may shorten the session length and does not reduce the fee

​

Exact policies and fees may be listed in your service agreement or intake paperwork and are considered part of these Terms.

​

7. SERVICES ARE NOT GUARANTEED

Individual outcomes vary. Hypnotherapy effectiveness depends on many factors, including participation and readiness for change.

Rooted Realms Hypnotherapy makes no guarantees regarding:

  • symptom relief

  • habit change results

  • healing outcomes

  • performance improvements

8. TELEHEALTH / VIRTUAL SERVICES

All sessions occur virtually, you agree that:

  • you will attend from a private environment whenever possible

  • you are responsible for your internet connection and device security

  • telehealth carries privacy risks (e.g., interruptions, technological failures)

  • Zoom is our platform and we do utilize their HIPPA compliant version for added security

We may reschedule if telehealth cannot be conducted safely or effectively due to technical disruption.

​

9. COMMUNICATIONS (EMAIL / TEXT)

Rooted Realms may communicate with you by:

  • email

  • phone

  • text message

​

These communications may include:

  • appointment confirmations/reminders

  • scheduling communications

  • invoices/receipts

  • service-related information

​

You understand that email/text may not be fully secure. You may request alternative methods.

​

Mobile Messaging / SMS Terms

By providing your mobile number, you agree that Rooted Realms Hypnotherapy may send you informational messages related to your care and services, including appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

For help, reply HELP or email us at info@rootedrealmshypnotherapy.com. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website is owned by Rooted Realms Hypnotherapy or used with permission, including:

  • scripts, meditations, recordings, and downloads
